How do I edit or add new prices in a coin?

A:

While viewing the market in a coin you may add a new price or edit an existing price. The prices in "red" naturally are yours. To edit a single price, click on the "red" price and you will presented a window to alter that coin/grade. Editing can also be done by grade "across all 4 grading services" by clicking on the "grade field" at the top of the market. A window will be presented allowing you to add or edit any price that you might have in that coin/grade in all 4 grading services.

Q:

What does the term "Halt" mean to CCE traders?

A:

There are basically 3 different types of trading "Halts", these are defined below. T  - Technical halt. This will appear to the left of the dealer ID. Should the dealer be having a computer or communication problem, he or she would request for this halt. The CCE administrator will preform this action. Once the problem is resolved the halt is removed. W  - 15 minute window halt. Limits are set to allow the dealer time to make changes in his markets. Default 15 minute limit is set to 15K. Should a dealer be hit with trades of that amount in a 15 minute time frame, that dealer will be placed on 15 minute halt status and automatically removed after 15 minutes. D  - Daily halt. By default this limit is set to 50K. Once a dealer has reached this limit, his prices are halted for the remainder of that days trading session. Should the dealer want to remain active for the remainder of the day, he or she could place a request with the CCE administrator to be taken off halt. Note: The halt status is displayed to the left of the dealer ID. No trades can be executed with a dealer that is on halt.

Q:	What is BQS?
A:	The Bullion Quotation Services (BQS) is a pricing system that calculates a price for each bullion dealer for bullion coins of gold, silver and platinum by applying a rule based on the current spot metal price for the metal. The rule derives a price by calculating the spot price plus or minus a percentage and/or a constant.

Q:	What is the benefit to the CCE Member?
A:	BQS allows you to maintain an actively updated market in the bullion that you buy and sell, and provide pricing to your end-users on a live basis.

Q:	What can CCE Members do on BQS?
A:	Any CCE member (Member Firm or Associate Member) may post prices in BQS and view prices, with dealer IDs. Prices may be posted by CCE members in Retail Indications or Wholesale Indications for the pages presented. Less frequently traded coins may be added on request. The best bid and ask price that are Public Indications will be included on the Public Indications composite page.

Q:	What can the Public do on BQS?
A:	The Public may see the composite page of the best prices on the Retail Indications page, with dealer IDs. In addition to the composite pages, the general public will also see each participating dealer's pages. Wholesale prices are not available to the public.

How do I find a CCE Member in my city?

A:

Using the online Dealer Index, it is very easy to locate CCE members. This feature allows you to search for CCE dealers by location or company name. To search for dealers by location, select the location from the dropdown box and click SEARCH. To search for dealers by name, type a partial name and click SEARCH. Note: The partial name search assumes that the company name begins with the partial name you enter. If you know the company name contains a phrase somewhere in its name, then precede the phrase with an asterisk (*). (Example: Type '*rare coin' to find all dealers that have 'Rare Coin' somewhere in its name.)

What information does the CCE Dealer Index provide?

A:

CURRENT info for sure! The Dealer profile will include the full address, Phone numbers (including any listed 800#), fax numbers, and the all important e-mail address and web site URL if available. In addition, we provide contact names and industry associations that the dealer belongs to. The Dealer Index is updated on a daily basis. We make it easy for our members to update their profile. Most of the dealer profile information is only available to subscribers.
