CAE is launching the Stamp Marketplace as part of its popular Collectors CornerSM services (www.CollectorsCorner.com).  Beginning May 15, 2009, the Stamp Marketplace portion of the website will exclusively feature stamps certified by PSE.

“Stamp collectors will be able to view, select and buy from thousands of PSE-certified stamps offered by many top dealers.  Because of the number of dealers and collectors potentially involved, this new service is expected to significantly boost activity in the stamp market,” said Cassi East, CAE President.

CAE is one of the world’s largest, online dealer-to-dealer collectibles networks with more than 450 dealers trading nearly 100,000 items in the electronic marketplace with a combined value in excess of $70 million.  Collectors Corner was launched in March, 2007 to enable collectors to buy directly from dealers who list their inventories online.  At launch date (May 15), the Stamp Marketplace already had 1,805 stamps posted for sale.

“Dealers can simply enter an asking price on Collectors Corner for a PSE-graded stamp and the associated PSE certification number on the holder insert.  All the information about the stamp being offered for sale is then automatically uploaded electronically from the extensive PSE stamp database,” explained East.

“We anticipate adding more features and functions to the Collectors Corner website in the near future to provide even greater services for collectors and dealers of PSE products.  Based on our previous experience in other collectibles markets, we expect hundreds of dealers to offer thousands of stamps with no additional fees or charges to the buyer other than normal shipping expenses.”
